Testimonials

Nu-Roc has had the honor of serving many residents from different walks of life throughout the years. Over time, numerous letters of thanks and gratitude have been received. As a dedication to our staff and their commitment for the utmost care and compassion to our residents, we offer the following words that have been shared with us by those families.

Thank you to all the staff at Nu-Roc, for taking such good care of my brother John Matelski. The food was very good and the care was one of the best I have ever seen. Everyone is friendly and very well trained for the job. It is one of the cleanest nursing homes that I have been in. John enjoyed all of the help there. Thanks for all the great care and compassion that you gave to him in his final days.

What a wonderful place to spend your final days. God Bless all of you.

Dear Mr. Newton,

Thank you for the use of the wheelchair, etc. It was extremely helpful during my recovery. I will always remember the special care given to me during my stay at Nu-Roc.

Thank you, Diane, George and Ann Schaenger. Thank you very much for the card and beautiful flowers.

Paul, Craig, and Staff,

Thank you so much for the beautiful plant and floral arrangement. Most of all thank you for all your kindness, tenderness, love, compassion, dedication, the list is endless, towards all of the residents who call Nu-Roc their home. Those beautiful qualities brought comfort to us when we could not be with our mom. We are forever grateful.

Thank you, Diane, George and Ann Schaenger. Thank you very much for the card and beautiful flowers.

Nu-Roc,

I want to thank everyone at Nu-Roc for taking such wonderful care of me during my stay. I appreciate the staff members that would stop and talk to me.

Thank Mike for the therapy and helping me on my road to recovery.

You all helped to brighten my days.

Thank you Val for such a special staff.

Happy New Year!

Thank you, Diane, George and Ann Schaenger. Thank you very much for the card and beautiful flowers.

Huge thanks to you, Paul, & Craig, and your wonderful staff. My fathers care was excellent. He was kept as healthy as possible and comfortable right to the end. The staff was remarkably thoughtful and kind. Not only to him, but also to myself. I couldn't be with him all of the time, but I knew he was well cared for all of the time. It's much the same when my grandmother was there when I was a kid in the early 1960's. Same kind, competent care run by the same family, but now run by the 3rd generation.

Thank you, Diane, George and Ann Schaenger. Thank you very much for the card and beautiful flowers.

Nu-Roc Community Healthcare Staff

I could write more than a page about the caring, loving, and professional care that I consistently observed being given to the residents of Nu-Roc Community Healthcare over the past five years. It was during that time that I spent many days and hours visiting my wife there. I feel very fortunate that Jeanne was able to be a resident at Nu-Roc during those final years of her life.

As a pastor I have visited many health care institutions in various parts of the country. As I remember them, Nu-Roc Community Healthcare is one of the few with a caring family tradition and administration. For me Nu-Roc, stands among the finest for its personal relationships and overall service. This service includes the families of residents. My family and I thank you. God's blessing as you continue your valuable tradition.

"Thank You" seems so inadequate for the wonderful care shown to our dad, Gary Shampo. The kindness, compassion & care given while he was there was multiplied after his passing. A special thanks to Sherri & Val for taking the time out of their personal schedules to be there for our family on the day he passed away. We are eternally grateful for all you have done & continue to do.

Sincerely, The family of Gary Shampo

Nu Roc and Staff,

Thank you so much for the beautiful plant, but most of all the wonderful care. All of you went above and beyond your duties.

The out pouring love the last week of his life was unreal. Not only from staff but other residents.

Al, was not in a nursing home, he was at home the last year and a half of his life. He was with his second family!

Words can not express the love we have for each and every one of you.

Paul and Craig should be so proud to have such a wonderful, caring staff.

The family of Al Trottier Lynn and Jeanne Liesch

To all the staff,

A big thank you to the entire staff at Nu-Roc and the hospice nurses for the terrific care and kindness they showed my mother, Patricia Morrell during her brief stay. You helped make the unbearable, bearable. Thank - you!

To all the staff at NuRoc,

Our words cannot express the gratitude we feel for the kindness and caring you gave to Ray in his 4 1/2 years at NuRoc, and for your support to all of us in his final days.

You all created such a warm, family environment for Ray and we always felt he was safe and well cared for with you. We feel very fortunate to have found such wonderful care close to us so we could visit him frequently.

We appreciate all of you and the difficult work you do.

The Piper Family

Dear Paul, Craig, & Nu-Roc Staff,

Thank you all so much for the wonderful care you gave Fredda. The nurses kept us up to date as Mom began to decline faster. The CNAs took such good care of her. All the staff was so friendly, empathetic, & understanding. Thank you also for the plant. I wish all of you could have known Fredda before she became ill. - God Bless You All

Nu-Roc Staff,

We would like to thank you for all the kind words and wonderful care you gave to Aunt Marilyn Simonis. She felt so comfortable and you made her last days keeping her spirit up. Thanks again to all the staff. It meant a lot to her

The Simonis Family

Dear Nu-Roc,

Thank you, Paul, Craig, and all the staff, especially Laura Cornelius, who cared for our mom, Beatrice Bonesteel during the final years of her life.

At first we were concerned how our independent mother would cope with living at Nu-Roc, but we needn't have worried. She soon made friends with the residents and staff, and though she liked to go on outings at first, she was always happy to go "home" to Nu-Roc.

She never wanted to miss the good meals in your dining room or the fun activities planned by Linda and Pari.

Thank you for the love and impeccable care and kindness you all showed to her. Thank you for always treating her with respect, dignity and patience.

You went above and beyond.

Thank you also for the beautiful floral arrangement. It was much appreciated.

With our sincere thanks and warmest gratitude from all of us.

Craig, Paul & Nu Roc Staff.

Thank you for the wonderful care you gave mom. Alzheimer's Disease is very debilitating to a person; that makes a person do things they normally would not do.

Everyone treated mom with Dignity, Respect & Kindness during these trying times. We never had to worry about her care which is very important & rare these days.

God bless all of you for the job you do. Thank you!

Thank you for the Flowers, they were comforting!

The Breeden Family

Dear Paul, Craig, & Staff,

Thank you for the love you never fail to offer, the help you never fail to give, and the laughter you never cease to share.

Our mother couldn't have spent her final years in a better more loving place.

Also thank you for the beautiful flowers that were sent to the funeral.

Dolly and Peggy

Dear Paul, Greg, and Staff -

You can't put into words just how grateful we are for all the wonderful love and care you showered on my Mother over the past several years.

We cannot express the overwhelming gratitude we felt during this journey.

Thank you for all you do. A special thank you for the beautiful flowers.

For EVERYONE at NuRoc

We would all like to think our Mother's deserve to be taken care of by angels - in our case we believe that came true.

We experienced a new understanding of the daily role of Caregiver..While they may wear other hats in life; spouse, mother, brother, sister, or even child---the one they wear working at NuRoc is truly the most welcome and challenging. Is is often in decline that people arrive, and the outcome determined. Yet these angels are always upbeat, caring, sensitive, and selfless in the treatment of residents and their families.

A Thank You does not begin to express our heartfelt appreciation to those who became Frannie's extended family. We commend you. We needed you, and you were there for Mom, and us, everyday.

We will forever be grateful for your steadfast devotion and the genuine affection shown to our Mother while she was with you.

Sincerely, Mike, Don, and Pete Davison

To Everyone at Nu Roc,

My deepest appreciation to everyone for the kindness and care shown me while I was at Nu Roc. It was nice to be able to come home yet there was a sadness also. The care I received I felt like family. I'm sorry for waiting so long to get in touch but I have had a few set-backs with my health buy my knee is coming along real good.

Thanks for Everything. I'll be in touch soon.

My Love To All,

Bonnie Lewis

To Paul, Craig, and Nu Roc Staff,

Love the "Krawze Girls"

How do we thank you for the care you gave our parents in their last days. My daughter is a nurse and her husband a doctor. They could not believe how much expert care you gave Ed. The genuine affection you gave Dad gave the family peace of mind. Thank you for answering every question, fulfilling every request and your honesty.

Our lives hold a huge void. We are fortunate to have been on the receiving end of your kindness.

Thank you for the beautiful plant. Your love and support has been a comfort.

Dear Nu-Roc Staff:

I was a short term resident with you while I was undergoing rehabilitation after my hip replacement in April. I just wanted to write and tell you how impressed I was with the care I received during my stay; my perception of nursing homes has completely changed.

The staff is wonderful and compassionate, the rooms and common areas were clean and well care for, and the grounds around the facility were absolutely beautiful.

I was especially moved by my visits with Paul and Craig. Their genuine attentiveness to the comfort of their residents is a wonderful influence that shines through the entire staff.

Thank you so much for all of the wonderful work that you do!

Sincerely,

The family of Mary Peronteau - Larry, Kari & Kris

Craig, Paul & Nu-Roc Staff -

Craig, Paul & Nu-Roc Staff -

Paul, Craig and Nu Roc Staff,

Your kind and compassionate care of Sid Sindelar is greatly appreciated. Your attention and thoughtfulness to him made us see how much you cared. His 101st Birthday Party was a highlight! Sid was so happy living at Nu Roc as he called it his "New Home". We were all content to see how happy he was and how much you made him feel at home. We will always remember your kindness.

Thank you, Family of Sid Sindelar

My Heartfelt Thank You Goes Out To:

Paul, the many wonderful nurses & aids, office staff & all others who make Nu Roc the great place that it is; a place that a person can leave their loved ones & know they will be taken care of in the best possible way.

Roger spent such a short time there & I regret I didn’t put him in your care sooner for you took such great care with him & showed such kindness & respect.

My heart is so filled with much appreciation & to simply say thank you doesn't seem enough of a word to express my gratitude for all you did for my husband.

God bless you for your wonderful facility & the care that is given.

A sincere "Thank You!" to the entire staff at Nu Roc. You went above and beyond to make our mothers stay, and ours when we were there with her, as comfortable as possible.

Thank God for special people like each and everyone of you.

Thank you and God bless you all.

The Harter Family

The family of Myrna Kopecky is extremely appreciative of the attentive care you showed to Myrna. She often told us she liked being at Nu Roc and the staff loved her. Sharing the feeling of your love to her in her final six years is the greatest gift you could give her.

Very Sincerely,

Thank You

You always go above and beyond what is required.

No wonder you're appreciated, well-liked, and admired!

The Breeden Family would like to thank Craig, Paul, and the whole staff at Nu Roc for the wonderful care and respect given to our Mom and Dad.
